SILENT DIALOGUE

Anne Glassners künstlerische Arbeit „silent dialogue“ knüpft an den Prozess der Bildleihe und das Leben mit einem Bild an. Intuitiv wählte die Künstlerin eine Arbeit von der Malerin Walpurga Ortag-Glanzer aus der Artothek aus und wurde selbst zur Leihnehmerin. Das Werk „Cold light pale blue“ hängte sie in ihrem Schlafzimmer über ihr Bett auf und dokumentierte ihre Gedanken und Träume. In ihrer in situ Performance tritt Anne Glassner in einen stillen Dialog mit dem Bild der Künstlerin.

Anne Glassner’s artistic work “silent dialogue” engages in the process of image and life with a single image and the art lending scheme. Intuitively, the artist chose a work by the painter Walpurga Ortag-Glanzer from the Artothek in Krems. The work with the title “Cold light pale blue” she positioned in her bedroom over her bed and documented her thoughts and dreams during the process. In her in- situ sleepperformance, Anne Glassner enters into a silent dialogue with the artist’s image and thoughts.
