VAN ART SPACE
Sleep Performance #21, VAN ART SPACE, Vienna, March 2024
In her ongoing exploration of the topics of sleep, standstill, acceleration and the car industry, this exhibition ties in with this theme. Anne Glassner herself will realise a sleep performance #21 in the VAN. In her occupation with the VAN, a sleeping 3D miniature figure was created which rests on the dashboard of the VAN. A video shows the sleeping racing driver - from the start in the old WU car park to the Südosttangente. The artist also addresses the advertising machinery of the racing driver industry and the fan industry. She herself in a racing suit will give an AUTO-Gramm lesson after her performance. Finally, visitors are invited to lie down in the VAN themselves.
