Anne Glassner und Theresa Schütz fragen im Zuge des Urbanize Festival 2021 nach der Möglichkeit eines poetischen Aufbegehrens – nach einer Kritik im Schlaf, einer vernunftbefreiten, tiefenbewussten Einstellung zum Leben. Vielleicht entgegen, wohl auch mit der Norm, jedenfalls durch einen subtilen Ausbruch aus dem Status Quo berauscht, der sich einer gewohnten Perspektive des Alltags entgegenstellt.Wir alle können poetische Norm-Terroristen werden, indem wir nichts tun - nur SCHLAFEN.

Im T/abor - Raum für Kunst und transdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit, unweit der Urbanize-Festivalzentrale, wird dafür ein Schlaflabor eingerichtet. Ein futuristisches Himmelbett wartet hinterlistig auf normkritische traumbegeisterte Probandt*innen, die sich auf eine Reise - und damit eine Kreation einer temporären Zone jenseits der Wirklichkeit - einlassen wollen. Eine auf dem Himmelbett montiere Kamera wird die vermeintliche Ruhe hoffentlich nicht stören….Lebensgroße Prints der Schlafterrorist*innen besetzen die Räume der uns stets abverlangen Geschwindigkeit und Effizienz mit Müdigkeit und der Ruhe. Wir Schlafen auf Parkplätzen und in Hauseingängen - zumindest plakativ. So zeigt sich auch das Urbanize Festivalgelände als temporäre autonome Zone. (Text: Theresa Schütz)

In the course of the Urbanize Festival 2021, Anne Glassner and Theresa Schütz ask about the possibility of a poetic rebellion - about a critique in sleep, a rationally liberated, depth-conscious attitude to life. Maybe against, probably with the norm, in any case intoxicated by a subtle escape from the status quo, opposing a habitual perspective of everyday life.We can all become poetic norm-terrorists by doing nothing - just SLEEP.

At T/abor - space for art and transdisciplinary collaboration, not far from the Urbanize festival headquarters, a sleep lab will be set up for this purpose. A futuristic four-poster bed slyly awaits norm-critical dream-enthusiastic probands who want to embark on a journey - and thus a creation of a temporary zone beyond reality. Try a Nap and Act!

A camera mounted on the four-poster bed will hopefully not disturb the supposed tranquility....Life-size prints of sleep terrorists occupy the spaces of the speed and efficiency always demanded of us with fatigue and rest. We sleep on parking lots and in house entrances - at least strikingly. In this way, the Urbanize festival site also presents itself as a temporary autonomous zone. (Text: Theresa Schütz)
